Vincent Cho conducts research in educational data use at The University of Texas at Austin, where he is currently working on his Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Planning. As such, Vincent has benefited greatly from his work and co-authorship with Dr. Jeffrey C. Wayman, a nationally recognized expert in data-informed decision making and school data systems.A graduate of Boston College, Vincent joined Teach for America and served as a teacher and assistant principal in some of Houston's most challenging middle schools. Vincent earned his M.Ed at the University of Houston, with a specialization in urban principalship. He has participated in Harvard University's Institute for Urban School Leaders and was a National Writing Project Fellow at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. Further, Vincent has presented at national conferences, including NABE, TESOL, and AERA. Finally, Vincent also serves on the staff of Texas Senator Judith Zaffirini, where he focuses on improving higher education via policy and legislation.
