Creating a new article is easy, just follow the steps below:
- Try editing an existing article first to get a feel for writing and for using K12 Wiki.
- Search schoolnet.com’s K12 Wiki to make sure that an article does not already exist on the subject - Hint: try searching under a different title.
- Create a new article by clicking on the Add New Article link besides the search field.
- Title the article
- Enter the content for the article. Create and list citations for reliable source(s) of your information. Articles that do not cite reliable published sources are likely to be deleted.
- Click on “Save”
- Please don't create articles about yourself or your friends, articles that advertise, or personal essays.
- Use caution when copying information, and in dealing with controversial material, extremely short articles, and local-interest articles.
