Amy Cook

As the Instructional Design and Learning Manager in Schoolnet’s New York office, Amy Cook is able to share best practices to increase product adoption. Based on her work with more than 40 Schoolnet clients, Amy spearheaded the development of the instructor certification program and leads the creation of workshop materials. With over 15 years of experience in software development, her background includes training, information architecture, instructional design, documentation, quality assurance and collaborative decision making.  

At a public service unit of the University of Georgia, Amy developed curriculum for an electronic atlas and taught it to teachers across the state. In Georgia, she also served as a substitute teacher and scored state standardized test essays.  

Amy joined Schoolnet in 2001. She holds a B.A from the University of Virginia, majoring in History with a minor in Urban Planning. In addition, Amy earned  Social Studies 7-12 teaching certification and an M.Ed. in instructional design from the University of Georgia.
