“Best Online Instructional Solution” Awards the best educational website designed to provide instructional support for preK-12 students, teachers and administrators. Includes teacher communication and/or lesson planning tools and wikis.

Schoolnet’s Align provides teachers with the tools they need to plan and individualize instruction. Access to standards-based curriculum, scope & sequence, class rosters and student assessment reports can inform instruction to improve student achievement. With up-to-date data, teachers are able to target enrichment or remediation efforts. Teachers can also easily create and share lesson plans.
The 2007 finalists were selected from a pool of over 1,000 submissions through a combination of journalist and peer review. The judges consist of educators, IT specialists, trade press journalists and other neutral specialists.
First awarded in 1986, the Software and Information Industry Association’s Codie Awards (A nickname for the building block of all programming – the ‘source code’, or just ‘code’) commend the industries’ fore-most products and services and honor excellence in corporate achievement and philanthropic efforts.
