To help districts get the most from the implementation of the Schoolnet IMS, Schoolnet offers a combination of User Workshops and Instructor Certifications to foster the ability at the various levels throughout the district to access and work with data using the Schoolnet’s IMS.
A training plan developed as a result of an initial needs assessment / Roadmap evaluation specifies the appropriate audiences for each type of workshop, as well as the specific data and reports relevant to each constituent.
- User Workshops
Working hand-in-hand with the school district, Schoolnet will conduct User Workshops for staff members and administrators who will use the Schoolnet IMS in their everyday work as well as for those who will need to support the teachers and staff who use the IMS.
- Instructor Certification
Schoolnet’s version of train-the-trainer. Participants will attend intensive training sessions and will receive all content knowledge and documentation necessary to conduct training for IMS users throughout the district organization. After attending all workshops and successfully passing all assessments, the attendee will become a Schoolnet Certified Instructor.
