Schoolnet’s new Custom Report Card module takes the hassle out of report card design with a new tool that gives schools maximum control over the final product. Our new system allows users to create report card templates in Microsoft Word, then use our Report Card Designer tool to set how grades, attendance, standards, and comment and conduct information will be pulled from the GradeSpeed.NET database into the report cards.
Users can create the report card templates tables and text in Microsoft Word. The Word document should be set up to appear exactly as the final report card should appear.
The Report Card Designer is a Windows-based program that operates in conjunction with Microsoft Word. Users can open the completed report card template within the Report Card Designer, and can begin using the Report Card Designer’s simple interface to “plug in” information into the appropriate data cells in the template.
The Report Card Designer allows users to select a cell in the template and then use the drop-down lists in the Report Card Designer to select the information that should be displayed in that cell.
The Report Card Designer allows users to pinpoint how grade, attendance, standards, and comment and conduct records should be displayed on the printed report card.
